Setting up your account is easy. Follow these steps:


Step 1: Download Transi app.

Step 2: Follow easy registration steps.

Step 3: Link with your bank account or credit/debit cards.

Step 4: Load wallet.

Step 5: Enter your password (private key).

Step 6: Ready to pay.

Upon registration, you can top-up your wallet balance and start sending and receiving money between mobile phones, transfer to own or third-party bank accounts, settle merchants, and bill payments. You can also request others to transfer money to their e-wallet by peer to peer transfers with the same wallet so you can fund more money into your wallet to continue spending.

To transfer money you will need to create a personal account within Transi App. We will need your personal information including full name, phone number and mailing address. You may also be required to upload a picture of a valid ID, recipients name, relevant information and receival method will also be required.

An international money transfer is a way to send money overseas from your bank account/credit-debit card or wallet to another bank account. Typically, when sending money internationally, there is also a currency exchange.

Transi will offer you ways to track your transfer from start to finish.

An exchange rate is the rate at which one currency will be exchanged for another currency. Exchange rates among currencies tend to shift daily due to the changing market forces of supply and demand of currencies from one country to another.

Yes, you may be charged a small fee for your transaction. However, Transi offer no fees on your first transfer.

You can check prices before and after you’ve logged in to your Transi Account following the next steps:


  1. Click Check price
  2. Choose where you’re sending money to
  3. Enter the amount you're sending or how much you want the recipient to receive (both the exchange rate and correlating amount will appear)
  4. Change your preferred Payout currency if you need to
  5. Choose the Payment method
  6. Choose the Delivery method
  7. Enter your promo code, if you have one

As long as the transfer has not been completed, you can usually modify your money transfer. If you have misspelled your recipient’s name, you can modify it in the app. If you don't have access to the app, you will have to contact Customer Care to make changes to your transfer. You can also edit the recipient on the app, or by contacting Customer Care, so that the payment can be picked up by someone else. If changes can’t be made, you may need to cancel your transfer.

You can request to cancel a transfer from the app as long as the transfer hasn’t been paid out following the next steps:


  1. Go to the Activity screen
  2. Select the transfer you want to cancel
  3. On the Transfer details screen, tap Edit
  4. Select Cancel Transfer
  5. When asked to cancel the transfer, tap Cancel Transfer
  6. The app will confirm if the cancel request has been successfully submitted

In case of a fraud transaction or scam, the first thing to do is to escalate the case to Transi through our customer help center channel immediately to report the fraud and file a complaint with the various resources listed below –
